SOURDOUGH STUFFING RECIPE

I'm about to take you on flavor train to Stuffing Town! This feel-good recipe will have you cheering for seconds.

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Servings: About 6

Step right up to the stuffing station, friends! This ain't your grandma's dry, boring bread cube medley (no offense, grandma). We're taking this classic side on a first-class trip to Flavor Town.

All aboard the tangy sourdough chunks that'll have your tastebuds cheering for more. Next stop: Ooey-gooey Cheeseville, where only the finest melty goodness is allowed. No cardboard-like cheese here!

Then, hold onto your forks as we cruise past the mountains of fresh herbs that can finally shine without all that salty broth. Take in the sights of wholesome ingredients at every turn. No sketchy preservatives or unpronounceable extras allowed on this feel-good flavor train!

Pretty soon you'll be stuffed with joy, not regret. This craveable twist on stuffing is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. So go ahead, dig in and get ready to fall hard for this masterpiece. Seconds? Don't mind if you do!

INGREDIENTS
PREPARATION

6 cups sourdough bread cubes½ cup unsalted grass fed butter

1/2 sweet onion, diced

1 celery stalk, diced

1 tbsp garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

3 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped

3 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped

1 ¼ cups low sodium chicken broth

1 egg

Freshly grated parmesan

  1. Melt your butter in a large pan over medium heat. Pour in the onion, celery, garlic salt, pepper, sage and rosemary. Stir and cook for 10 minutes.

  2. Then stir in ½ cup of chicken broth.

  3. Pour this mixture over your bread cubes and evenly coat them.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together ¾ cup of broth and the egg (we do this so the egg doesn't cook in the warm mixture). Pour this over the cubes and evenly coat again.

  5. Fill your muffin tin with your stuffing mixture (I recommend you use silicone) and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Suggested Option: Sprinkle on some freshly grated parmesan cheese half way through! Note: This makes about 15 muffins, so feel free to double the recipe if needed.
